This was a glorious project to create in blue velvet as close to 'Charlton blue' as we could find. Trimmed with gold braid and buttons in a military style. This was a boned bodice with no stays for the riders comfort. I merged 2 original patterns to create this design and created it from a cotton velvet lined in cotton twill. The skirt is a simple split design to accommodate riding side saddle.
